The Damon System is not just about revolutionary braces and wires, it’s a whole new way of treating patients. Traditional treatment often requires removal of healthy teeth and/or the use of palatal expanders to make space. Damon braces are designed to be discreet, comfortable and easy to keep clean. Without the elastic ties which attract and collect plaque, Damon braces make dental hygiene easy during treatment. They use light high-technology shape-memory wires that move teeth faster and require fewer adjustments — usually without extractions or rapid palatal expanders. Damon braces use a slide mechanism to hold the wire, which allows teeth to move more freely, quickly and comfortably.

Fast Treatment
You will see results faster than you might think! While treatment time can vary, clinical studies demonstrate that Damon System treatment is up to six months faster than traditional braces. That’s in part because Damon Clear braces are working to improve your smiles 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Greater Comfort without Tightening
Damon Clear uses tie-less braces that don’t need to be tightened. They are, therefore, more gentle to the teeth and tissues. Will I need retainers after my Damon Braces?

Following the end of treatment, teeth often have a tendency to return to their original positions, which is called a relapse. There are a variety of factors that may influence the possibility of relapse including the type of treatment. One study showed that patients treated with Invisalign relapsed more than those treated with braces. Damon System results are built to last. However, because all teeth have a tendency to relapse, it may be necessary to wear some type of removable retention device at night – such as a Damon Splint – following treatment.

Our DAMON costs are fully inclusive, and treatment includes two years of follow-up care once you’ve finished wearing your aligners. You’ll also receive customised fixed and removable retainers to ensure your teeth stay straight and you keep smiling.
